I do all female intimate waxing treatments. I exclusively use hot wax for your intimate treatments – it sticks to the hairs and not the skin – so it’s much less painful than strip wax. I will ensure your treatment is performed in the most comfortable, professional and hygienic manner.
If you’re new to full body waxing, there’s probably a few things you’d like to know. Heres some of the most common questions my clients ask.
Brazilian Waxing - Does it hurt?
This is the most common question we get! There’s no getting away from the fact that if it’s your first time, you’re likely to feel some slight discomfort. However due to my technique and training I can ensure you the most comfortable wax. Any pain experienced only lasts for a second when the wax is coming off, and disappears just as quick. The important thing here is that the more regularly you have treatments, the more comfortable it will become.
How long will it take?
It depends on the treatment you’re having, but typically a Brazilian will take 30 minutes.
How often should I get a Brazilian?
It differs between individuals based on hair regrowth, but we recommend around every 4 weeks to ensure best long-term results.
Whats the difference between hot wax and strip wax?
I only use premium hot wax for our Intimate wax treatments, it sticks the hair and not the skin causing much less trauma to those delicate intimate areas, and is more comfortable afterwards. Strip wax is removed with a paper strip, and is better suited to more resilient areas of the body like your legs.
How long should the hair be for a wax?
For best results, and less discomfort, it’s important the hairs are around around 1 cm (about the length of a grain of rice) in length. Better too long than too short.
I'm pregnant - can I get waxed?
Yes of course! Just be aware that, particularly during your first trimester, due to increased hormones you may feel slightly more discomfort during the treatment.
Should I do anything before my appointment?
For best results, it’s advisable to exfoliate before your appointment. Hygiene is very important to us, so if possible please take a shower. Wipes are provided for clients in the salon and it would be appreciated if you could be courteous and freshen-up before your wax.
